Setting up IPTV on a Firestick is straightforward once you know which app to use and where to find it. This guide covers the most common setup method using IPTV Smarters Pro, which is available directly from the Amazon Appstore on all Fire TV devices.
What you need before you start
- An Amazon Firestick or Fire TV device (any model)
- Your IPTV credentials: username, password and server URL — provided by Ryanix Store after you order
- A working broadband connection (at least 10 Mbps for HD)
Step 1 — Install IPTV Smarters Pro
From your Firestick home screen, go to the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top and search for "IPTV Smarters Pro". Select the app from the results and install it. It's free to install from the Amazon Appstore — no sideloading or developer mode is required.
Step 2 — Open the app and choose your login method
Open IPTV Smarters Pro. You'll be presented with login options. Select "Login with Xtream Codes API". This is the standard format used by most IPTV services including Ryanix Store.
Step 3 — Enter your credentials
You'll need to enter three pieces of information, which Ryanix Store sends you after your order is processed:
- Your name — a label you choose to identify this account in the app
- Username — provided by Ryanix Store
- Password — provided by Ryanix Store
- URL — the server address provided by Ryanix Store
Enter these carefully, paying attention to upper and lower case letters. Typos are the most common cause of login failures. Once entered, tap "Add User".
Step 4 — Load your channel list
IPTV Smarters will connect to the server and load your channels. Depending on the size of the playlist, this can take 30–60 seconds on first load. You'll see your channel categories appear: Live TV, Movies, Series and (if supported) EPG.
Step 5 — Set up the EPG
The EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) should load automatically. If it doesn't, go to the app settings and look for "EPG" or "TV Guide" — there may be a manual refresh option. The EPG data can take a few minutes to fully populate on first use.
Step 6 — Browse and watch
Navigate to "Live TV" to see your channel categories. You can browse by category (UK Entertainment, Sports, News, Movies etc.) or search for a specific channel by name. Select a channel to start streaming.
Alternative app: TiviMate
TiviMate is another popular IPTV app. It has a more polished EPG interface than IPTV Smarters Pro and many IPTV users prefer it for its TV-guide-style layout. The basic version is free; a one-time paid upgrade unlocks additional features. Setup is similar — you enter your Xtream Codes credentials under "Add Playlist" > "Xtream Codes".
Troubleshooting common issues
- Login fails: Double-check credentials for typos. No spaces at the start or end.
- Channels not loading: Check your internet connection. Try restarting the app.
- EPG not showing: Use the manual EPG refresh option in settings. EPG takes a few minutes to load.
- Buffering: See our guide to fixing Firestick IPTV buffering.
Getting your Ryanix Store IPTV credentials
If you don't yet have an IPTV subscription, Ryanix Store packages combine a Fire TV device with a 1-Year or Lifetime IPTV subscription. After ordering via WhatsApp, you'll receive your server credentials and can follow the steps above to get started.
